Spellebration
Get ready to test your luck at our 32nd annual Spellebration on Friday, February 13th at the haunted Hotel Colorado! This year’s theme is superstitions. Black cats, voodoo witches, leprechauns and all their funky friends will be in attendance. For $225, you can register a team of three to compete in the spelling bee and win bragging rights as the best spellers in Garfield County. We are also looking for volunteers to help set up, break down, collect silent auction items and run IT at the event.
To sign up, fill out the Team Registration Form below and submit it with your team payment by Friday, February 6th. You can drop off your registration form at our office or email to: literacyoutreach@literacyoutreach.org.

Spellebration is an adult spelling bee and fundraiser that we’ve held in the valley since 1994.
The first Spellebration started as a fun way to involve the community in the world of literacy, to raise money, and to give people a chance to test out their spelling skills. Teams of three compete to spell as many words correctly as they can over multiple rounds until a winner is crowned. The winners earn bragging rights as the Best Spellers of Garfield County!
